SPC Wall Panel FAQs

What does SPC mean?

SPC stands for Stone Plastic Composite. It is a rigid material made using natural limestone powder, virgin PVC and stabilisers, creating a solid and dimensionally stable wall panel.

What are SPC wall panels made from?

The panels have a solid 4mm SPC core containing approximately 70% natural limestone powder and 30% virgin PVC and stabilisers. This is finished with a decorative design layer, protective PU layer and UV coating.

Are SPC wall panels waterproof?

Yes, the panels are 100% waterproof and suitable for moisture-prone interior spaces. In bathrooms and other wet areas, all joints, cut edges, corners and openings should still be sealed correctly to prevent water from reaching the wall behind the panels.

Where can SPC wall panels be installed?

They are suitable for interior walls in bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, living areas, bedrooms, hallways and commercial interiors. Always follow the installation guidance appropriate for the room and underlying wall surface.

What sizes are available?

There are two panel sizes:

  • 2400 × 600 × 4mm, supplied in packs of two
  • 1200 × 600 × 4mm, supplied in packs of four

Both pack options cover a total area of 2.88m².

What is the difference between the two panel sizes?

The 2400mm panels provide floor-to-ceiling coverage with fewer horizontal joints and have tongue-and-groove connections along their long edges.
The smaller 1200mm panels are easier to handle and have tongue-and-groove connections on all four edges.

How do the panels connect?

The tongue-and-groove edges click together to help align adjoining panels and create a neat, secure connection. Correct preparation, alignment and sealing are still important for the finished installation.

Are matt and gloss finishes available?

Selected designs are available in both matt and gloss. Wild Stone, Luxor Dark and Rust Stone are available in matt only. The individual product page will show the finish options available for each design.

Do I need trims for SPC wall panels?

Trims give your installation a neat finish where panel edges or corners would otherwise be exposed. Our SPC end trim can be used at the start or end of a panelled area, while our SPC corner trim is designed for internal and external corners. Both are available in colours coordinated with our SPC wall panels.

These trims are designed specifically for our SPC panel range; fit and colour matching with panels from other manufacturers cannot be guaranteed. In wet areas, trims and adjoining edges must also be fitted and sealed correctly. A waterproof trim alone does not make the finished installation watertight.

Will the joins be completely invisible?

The tongue-and-groove system creates a close, neat connection, but joins may still be visible depending on the design, lighting and installation. Careful panel alignment helps achieve the best overall finish.

Can I order a sample first?

Yes. Samples allow you to view the colour, pattern and surface finish in your own room before ordering full packs. We recommend checking samples in both natural and artificial light.

SPC stands for Stone Plastic Composite. The rigid core is manufactured from approximately 70% natural limestone powder and 30% virgin PVC and stabilisers. A decorative surface, protective PU layer and UV coating complete the layered construction.

Our SPC wall panels are suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, feature walls, living spaces and commercial interiors. The marble and stone-effect designs provide the appearance of natural materials without the weight and installation process associated with full stone slabs.

Choose 2400 × 600 × 4mm panels supplied in packs of two or 1200 × 600 × 4mm panels supplied in packs of four. Both pack formats cover 2.88m², allowing you to select the most practical panel size without changing the total coverage per pack.

The tongue-and-groove edges click together to help align adjoining panels and create a neat, secure connection. The full-height 2400mm panels have tongue-and-groove connections along the long edges, while the more compact 1200mm panels connect on all four sides.

In bathrooms and other wet areas, joints, cut edges, corners and openings should be sealed correctly to prevent water from reaching the wall behind the panels. Always install onto a flat, stable and suitably prepared surface and follow the complete fitting instructions.

Complete your installation with our matching SPC wall panel end trim for exposed panel edges and SPC wall panel corner trim for internal and external corners. You can also order SPC wall panel samples to compare colours and finishes in your own space before buying full packs.
