A unique weathered timber finish designed for stylish modern outdoor spaces.
Driftwood Composite Decking features a distinctive weathered timber-effect finish inspired by naturally aged wood. Its deeply embossed surface creates a unique characterful appearance while still delivering the low-maintenance benefits and durability composite decking is known for.
Like most composite decking products, Driftwood decking naturally goes through an initial weathering process during the first 12-16 weeks after installation. During this time, the surface colour may lighten slightly before stabilising. This is completely normal and helps achieve the final settled appearance.
If you’d like an idea of the settled colour beforehand, take a look at the grooved reverse side of the decking board. This provides a good indication of the final colour once the weathering process has stabilised.
No. Driftwood Composite Decking requires very little maintenance compared to traditional timber decking. There is no need for sanding, staining, painting or sealing. Occasional cleaning with warm soapy water is usually all that is required to keep it looking its best.
Composite decking is designed to be low maintenance and, in most cases, only requires occasional cleaning to keep it looking its best.
For general cleaning, we recommend using hot soapy water and a soft brush, or alternatively a pressure washer on a low to medium setting. This is usually more than enough to remove dirt, debris, and everyday surface marks.
Please do not use any decking cleaners, solvents, bleach-based products, or chemical cleaning agents on composite decking. Many cleaning products contain alcohol, bleach, or other harsh chemicals which can react with the inks and colour pigments used during the manufacturing process, potentially causing discolouration, fading, or surface damage.
To protect the finish and maintain the original appearance of your decking, only clean using water-based methods and avoid chemical cleaning products altogether.
Driftwood boards feature a textured embossed surface designed to provide improved grip underfoot. As with any outdoor surface, care should still be taken during wet, icy or leaf-covered conditions.
For best results, joists should be installed at a maximum of 400mm centres. Installing joists further apart than recommended may affect board performance and is not advised.

There is no need for sanding, staining or sealing, allowing you to enjoy the appearance of weathered wood without the ongoing maintenance associated with traditional timber decking.
Available in both Grey Driftwood Composite Decking and Beige Driftwood Composite Decking, these boards are designed to suit modern gardens, patios, terraces and outdoor entertaining spaces while creating a premium weathered timber finish that stands apart from conventional decking boards.
Every board includes FREE hidden fixings as standard, helping achieve a cleaner and more professional installation with fewer visible screws. We also supply matching trims, step edges, end caps and installation accessories to help complete your project.
